Fireboat 20 extinguishes brush fire along the shoreline
Delaware River/Fox Point Park (New Jersey Side)

The communications center alerted Station(s) 20, Rescue boats 23 and Wilmington Fireboat 7 for a boat on fire in the area of the Delaware River at Fox Point Park. MRU-20 W/Fireboat 20 made the response under command of Deputy Chief Willis with a crew of 5. Fireboat 20 arrived to find a brush fire along the shoreline. Fireboat 20 placed the deck gun in service and was able to extinguish the majority of the fire. Deputy Chief Willis requested units to respond from Salem County to mop the rest of it up from shore.
