Assist 3/6/12 W/5 Alarm Multi Residential Fire

The communications center alerted Station 20 for an Engine assist Stations 3, 6 and 12 as part of the 2nd alarm assignment on a working Multi Residential Fire. Squrt 20 made the response with a crew of 4 under command of Fire Chief Maxwell. On arrival of squrt 20, fire was in defensive mode. Squrt 20 was positioned on the Charlie/Delta corner in case we were needed for boom operations. Crew then stretched the bumper line off of 12-6 and began to attack the fire from the exterior. After fire was darkened down, crew went in to perform a secondary search and to extinguish any remaining fire. Squrt 20' s crew operated for several hours before being released by command.
