Holloway Terrace Fire Company is pleased to announce that we are placing our new Fireboat in service. Fireboat 20 is a 2008 Boston Whaler 27’ Challenger Fireboat. This is a Class C Fireboat. This unit is powered by dual Mercury 300 HP Verado 4 Stroke outboard engines. It is equipped with a 5kW Generator, search lights (fixed and remote controlled) all emergency lighting as per USCG requirements, Raymarine Interactive C-series C120 Radar/GPS/Depth Finder, State of Delaware 800 mhz Radio, Raytheon RAY 54 VHF Radio, Dive Door w/ custom built dive ladder, Tow Line, Bow Push Knee, First-Aid bag, all standard equipment for safe boating and rescue boat operations, and many more options. The suppression capabilities are powered by a 75 HP Darley Pump System fixed below deck. The fire pump supplies a deck pipe with (3) three gated discharges as well as a Darley Vulcan Remote Monitor on the bow of the boat with a Darley Foam Eductor and 30 Gallon Foam Tank in the cuddy cab of the bow of the boat.
