	Photo Gallery PD MVC W/Large fuel spill/leak brings HazMat 30/DNREC - Terminal Ave / I-495 Saturday, February 12, 2011 The communications center alerted Station 20 for a PD MVC with a fuel spill/leak. 20-5 made the response under command of Captain Fontello with a crew of 4. On arrival of 20-5, found a tractor trailer leaking diesel fuel. Approximately 20 gallons had already leaked to the ground and there was about 75 gallons of fuel in the tank at the time of the accident. Captain Fontello requested Hazmat 30 along with DNREC to respond. Crews from both 205 and Hazmat 30 worked together to contain the leak and transfer fuel from the leaking tank to the storage tank on Hazmat 30. Crews worked for a few hours and situation was placed under control and units were placed available. Pics to follow...
