Robert (Bobby) Maxwell

In the past, Robert has held the positions of Deputy Chief, 2nd Assistant Chief, Rescue Captain, and 2nd Lieutenant of Rescue. Bobby joined the fire company as a junior member in 1995 and held the office of Junior President for the last two years of his junior membership term in 1999 & 2000. Bobby became an active member of the company in 2001 and was awarded several firefighter and EMT of the year awards through out his membership. Bobby has been a fire line officer since 2002 and held the offices of; 2nd Lt of Rescue, Captain of Rescue, 2nd Assistant Fire Chief and Deputy Fire Chief.

Bobby has attended several DSFS fire school classes from Basic Firefighting Skills up to Fire Officer 2. Bobby also obtained his NFPA FF 1 & 2 Certification, Swift Water Rescue Technician, Ice Rescue Technician, Confined Space Rescue Technician, Collapse Rescue Technician, Trench Rescue Technician and NR-EMT-B .

Bobby currently holds the position of Team Coordinator of the New Castle County Surface Water Rescue Team.

Bobby currently works for the City of Wilmington Fire Department, assigned to Ladder Co. #2 on the D Platoon.
